—My take on Psalm 36:4
She acts with constant determination,
prioritizing goodness over her own rest.
She approaches her tasks earnestly and with full focus,
free from distractions,
giving her complete attention to the work at hand.
She does this freely and willingly,
driven by her own inclination rather than any external pressure or influence.
She doesn’t simply stumble into right-doing;
instead, she actively creates and plans ways to do it;
she spends her quiet moments reflecting on what is good and meaningful.
Whether lying down or walking through life,
she continuously contemplates and chooses goodness,
showing how ingrained it is in her thoughts and actions.
She deliberately sets herself
on a righteous path and remains firmly there,
refusing to be moved,
fully embracing her own decisions.
Rather than rejecting or disliking goodness,
she takes pleasure in it,
defends it,
and incorporates it into her life
without any sense of shame or moral conflict.
