Fulfilled. That’s what the month of March meant to me. It was a month of good news, expectations met, and a deep sense of peace with everything unfolding in my life. Instead of bracing for the unexpected, I found myself embracing the present and trusting that I was exactly where I needed to be.
Maybe March was a reminder that seasons change not just in the world around us, but within us too. And as I step into this next one, I do so with peace, confidence, and excitement for what’s ahead.
So here’s a look back at my March, one I’ll gladly carry with me.
Picture of the Month
'Tis the (allergy) season! Literally on the first day of spring, my allergies activated, and I’ve been deep in hay fever mode ever since.
Funny story, I went to grab more Flonase (my drug of choice), but I was so out of it, battling itchy, watery eyes, that I accidentally picked up the children’s Flonase. The words were written in big, bold orange letters on the box, but did I see them? Nope. I kept complaining to my husband that maybe I needed something stronger, and that’s when he noticed my mistake. We laughed and laughed.
I’m fully stocked now with my holy trinity: Flonase, Zyrtec, and my inhaler. Hopefully, these allergies get the memo and settle down soon!
Song Podcast of the Month
This month, I discovered Amy Poehler’s Fun Hang podcast, and I’m so glad she created it. If you know me, you know I absolutely love Amy Poehler. I’ve watched all her shows, SNL sketches, read her books, and the moment I heard she had a podcast, I jumped in immediately. And yes, it’s good. Yes, it’s a fun hang. But what really got me was the very first episode, it was just so fun and unhinged, with a full minute of laughter and giggling as Rachel Dratch tried to get herself together to join the podcast. It brought me so much joy! Highly recommend giving it a listen.
