Meanwhile in the Archives: July Edition
Think of this as your ribbon-wrapped reading list for the month.
Hey friends,
I’m finding my footing in the rhythm of what’s next for me! June was such a great month, it brought my 36th birthday (woot woot), record-breaking heat, and a dramatic drive through a Carolina monsoon. I feel like I’m still getting settled in Charlotte and learning my way around (without GPS!) and just letting this new chapter unfold one day at a time.
As I mentioned last month, I’ll be sending a little note your way this summer that highlights some of my favorite posts from the archives. Whether you’re new here or have been reading for a while, I hope these posts land just when you need them.
More to come soon. Until then, here’s a good way to keep reading.
Your friend,
Dre
From the Archives…
Written in the space between longing and loss—this reflection holds the ache of childhood dreams brushing up against adult realities.
Mid-scroll and mid-sigh—this post drifts through years of saved thoughts, hoping for inspiration but landing instead in the soft space of almosts and not-quites.
Caught in the swirl of self-focus, this moment names the blur of tunnel vision and the quiet clarity that comes from a well-timed quote.
Somewhere between bravery and vulnerability, this post holds the tension of stepping into the spotlight, heart racing, smile trembling, unsure whether to stand tall or disappear.
